Yosemite Mountaineering School
07/2013 – 08/2015
I was a rock climbing guide in Yosemite National Park on various guided day climbs for the Yosemite Mountaineering School. These included multi-pitch routes such as “Royal Arches”, “Snake Dike”, “Central Pillar of Frenzy”, “East Buttress of Middle Cathedral”, “North East Buttress of Higher Cathedral”, “Cathedral Peak” and many other routes. I also taught one-day top-rope climbing classes for the public in groups of 6 to 12 with a co-guide. My duties included teaching about the history of Yosemite and climbing in the park. I often worked in harsh weather (extreme heat) and I was required to have vertical rescue skills.
